ATLANTA — Friedrich Air Conditioning Co. unveiled its new Floating Air Pro® and Floating Air Premier ductless solutions featuring FastPro™ at the 2019 AHR Expo.
Designed with the contractor in mind, FastPro decreases the time needed to install ductless systems and perform maintenance by as much as 50 percent. It also reduces hassles, allowing contractors and installers to offer ongoing service and maintenance plans to their customers with confidence.
“Friedrich FastPro solves major pain points for the trades when it comes to ductless system installation and maintenance,” said TJ Wheeler, vice president of marketing and product management, Friedrich. “Removing these barriers will help continue to accelerate ductless system adoption while opening up ongoing service contract revenue streams for contractors.”
FastPro reduces complications by allowing the interior unit’s blower wheel and drain pan module to be removed and re-installed as one component, using just seven screws, versus having to perform multiple steps.
The company also announces it is now offering its award-winning VRP® (Variable Refrigerant Packaged) Heat Pump system in a larger 3-ton size. The expanded lineup is based on Friedrich’s innovative, award-winning technology that features variable refrigerant flow and a Precision Inverter Compressor designed to increase comfort and efficiencies while reducing sound. VRP offers the convenience and maintenance advantages of a closet-mounted, single packaged unit.
With Friedrich’s FreshAireTM technology, VRP is an IAQ game changer, earning kudos for patents-pending makeup air (MUA), MERV-8 air filtration, and sophisticated humidity control capabilities that include on-board sensors that monitor and adjust compressor speeds to enhance dehumidification.
“Our customers understand the major benefits that better indoor air quality has for reducing maintenance issues and promoting a healthier indoor environment,” Wheeler said. “With our new three-ton VRP option, Friedrich now has a full range of sizes capable of delivering optimal room-by-room comfort and conditioned air, designed to fit just about any need.”
