VIENNA, Va. — The American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA) announced Victory Energy President and CEO John Viskup has been elected to the chairman of the board by the board of directors at the organization's 2019 Annual Meeting at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
“It is quite an honor to be elected by my peers to lead this great organization," said Viskup. "I look forward to continuing our momentum and advancing ABMA and the boiler industry."
Doug Wright, president and CEO of Superior Boiler was re-elected to a three-year term on the ABMA board of directors by the membership and elected vice-chair.
Viskup and Wright are joined by Detroit Stoker Company President Tom Giaier, who continues as secretary/treasurer and Earle Pfefferkorn, president of Boiler Systems from Cleaver-Brooks, who moves to the role of immediate past chair after serving as board chairman for the last two years.
The ABMA membership also elected Tricia Staible, president of Robinson Fans for three-year term on the ABMA board of directors along with the re-nomination of Mark Colman, president of Rentech Boiler Systems.
In addition, Associate Member Group Leadership have seats on the board of directors and elected Rhett Baker, president of Quest-Tec Solutions, as chairman after two years as vice-chair and Steven Taylor, director of sales at WARE as vice-chair during their group meeting.
“I am looking forward to working closely with John Viskup and Doug Wright to implement a shared vision and excited for the addition of Tricia Staible and Steven Taylor,” said Scott Lynch, ABMA president and CEO.
The board of directors also consists of: Eric Benoit, vice president of sales, Clarage; Eric Graham, national sales manager, Webster Combustion; Bob Rizza, vice president of sales and marketing, Power Flame; Steve Rubarts, vice president, Williams & Davis; Nancy Simoneau, president and CEO, Groupe Simoneau; and Don Whitman, Package Boiler Business manager, Babcock & Wilcox.
