Kulthorn Kirby Public Company Limited (KKC) announced the purchase of the assets and equipment of Bristol Compressors Intl. LLC, as well as the "Bristol" brand name, intellectual properties, know-how, products, and technologies.

KKC will obtain the rights to manufacture Bristol compressors from 1.5 HP to 25 HP for air conditioning and heat pump application (9,000 to 287,400 BTU/H) and also for commercial refrigeration application (5,200 to 40, I 00 BTU/H). KKC will aim to support all Bristol customers worldwide, and will focus on restarting the business once the production is ready to start in Thailand.

KKC will be moving all machineries and equipment from Bristol, Virginia to Bangkok, where it intends to continue manufacturing Bristol compressors with the same manufacturing processes and procedures as Bristol USA. The move and ramp-up period is estimated to take six to eight months. In the coming months, the KKC team will work closely with business partners to reintroduce Bristol compressors into the market, as well as to re-establish supply chains for Bristol compressor components to be manufactured in Thailand.
