ARLINGTON, Va. — ACCA announced that Lytx® has joined ACCA’s corporate sponsor program and is recognized as ACCA’s Official Driver Safety Partner.
ACCA’s corporate membership program enables HVACR industry suppliers and manufacturers to demonstrate a commitment to ACCA members and the contracting industry through year-round support of the association's activities. The corporate membership program also provides manufacturers and suppliers with increased access to ACCA’s nationwide network of contractors through tailored communications and marketing campaigns throughout the year.
“ACCA welcomes Lytx’s strong support for the contracting industry and their commitment to driver safety,” said Barton James, ACCA president and CEO. “ACCA has been focused on safety and risk reduction, and seeks partners dedicated to helping contractors improve safety in their operations. ACCA’s exclusive insurance provider, Federated Insurance, has helped ACCA be a leader on these issues. Now, Lytx will play an important role contributing to these efforts.”
“The Lytx Driver Safety Program, powered by the company’s best-in-class DriveCam® Event Recorder, is proven to help save lives and reduce risk,” said Del Lisk, Lytx vice president, safety services, and newest member of the ACCA Safety Council. “Lytx clients experienced approximately 625,000 fewer instances of risky driving in 2018 compared to 2017. Using the world’s largest driving database of its kind, along with proprietary machine vision and artificial intelligence technology, Lytx helps protect and connect thousands of fleets and more than 1 million drivers worldwide.
Lisk continued, “We are proud to join ACCA as an exclusive partner and Official Driver Safety Sponsor. We are able to help contractors of all fleet sizes reduce risk in their companies by focusing on crash prevention techniques and driver safety. Lytx welcomes the opportunity to engage with ACCA’s nationwide network of contractors and looks forward to working with ACCA to educate contractors about our driver safety programs and products.”
