LEBANON, Ohio — Overly Hautz Co. announced that the U.S. Patent Office has issued US Patent 9,973,056, entitled “Motor Mounting Assembly and Method of Manufacture.” 

This patent covers the invention of the screw mechanism used to adjust the position of a motor, providing enhanced pulling power and longer thread life. The product life cycle of the motor base is greatly increased. This new screw mechanism is incorporated in the company’s primary line of motor bases. 

“This new mechanism offers ease of use, increased durability, and reliability to our line of standard motor bases,” said Tom Copanas, president of Overly Hautz. 

Overly Hautz holds several patents covering various motor base technologies.
