WILMINGTON, N.C. — Longley Supply opened its new state-of-the-art HVAC Educational and Technical Training Center, featuring Luxaire residential and Mitsubishi Electric mini split systems.

The center features a multi-use classroom that fits more than 20 people, combined with a technical lab supported by 11 fully functional HVAC systems. Being the first Luxaire training center in the U.S., there are six systems, including gas and electric complete with ductwork and zoning systems for training purposes.  The opposite side of the lab is the Mitsubishi Authorized Training Center with five ductless and ducted systems.  This combination will provide factory authorized training for all HVAC dealer and contractor personnel.

The Certified Training Center is supported by both manufacturers’ technical support departments and Longley’s own in-house factory trained and certified instructor.  The instructor also has TSA (technical service advisor) responsibility for all Longley Supply locations.

Customer and employee training remains a key focus for Longley and its management team.  The addition of the new training center paired with the in-house instructor will complete the practical and technical training process.
