BROCKVILLE, Ontario — Canarm Ltd. broke ground at its expanding Parkedale Avenue, Brockville facility.
In recent years, Canarm has doubled its HVAC production area at this facility to 100,000 square feet, and invested in state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and robotics. The new expansion will add an additional 90,000 square feet to its existing structure in two phases to be completed over the next several years. Phase one, which will begin by the end of August, will see the addition of approximately 57,000 square feet. Phase two allows for the addition of 32,000 square feet as required.
This first addition will be used primarily for warehousing so existing space can refocus on the manufacturing of the commercial/industrial HVAC products produced at the Brockville Center of Excellence facility.
“Brockville is HVAC - we have great people and expertise that we need to put more building around to serve our customers better,” said Jim Cooper, Canarm president and chief operating officer. “We continue to re-invest in assets that are valuable to our customers!”
