MILWAUKEE — Due to continuing inflationary costs of doing business and foreign trade changes, Johnson Controls – Hitachi North America is implementing a price increase beginning January 1, 2020, on all VRF, Mini-VRF, and DFS related systems, products, parts, and accessories.

Depending on product mix, the increase may range between 3-6 percent for most products. For some products, the increase may be beyond this range due to material, tariff, and other related costs.

  • Orders shipped on or after January 1, 2020, will be invoiced at the new price.
  • Standard pricing files will be made available after December 1, 2019, or can be requested from the Ductless and VRF Systems Pricing department.

Special Pricing Programs and IPAs:

  • Existing special pricing and IPAs approved prior to December 31, 2019, due to ship after January 1, 2020, will be honored through their expiration date at the pre-increase price however, no requests for modifications to existing special pricing or IPAs will be honored after December 31, 2019.
  • For all special quote pricing programs (for example: Claim-Back IPAs) pre-increase pricing will be honored until January 31, 2020. Upon this date all current special quote pricing programs (for example: Claim-Back IPAs) will terminate. New claim back IPAs can be submitted for strategic review.
