The founder of Geary Pacific Corporation, Patrick V. Geary, passed away on December 24, 2019.
Geary began his career in 1954 with his Uncle Les as a sheet metal man and a heating and air conditioning contractor in Fullerton, California, and Apple Valley, California.
In 1961, he started the distribution company that is today Geary Pacific Supply, to sell Revco heat pumps and air conditioners to contractors.
In 1964, he was introduced to Randolph Bard of Bard Manufacturing. He would later come to know Bard as one of his greatest mentors and friends and credits Bard with much of Geary Pacific Corporation's early success.
In 1982, Geary was one of the original three independent distributors to sign on with Harold Goodman as a distributor for Goodman Manufactured products, and it is still an important part of the company's business today.
Geary Pacific Supply, headquartered in Anaheim, California, has 31 locations spread over eight Western states and is owned and managed by second and third generation family members.
Geary is survived by his wife of 62 years, Frankie Sue, along with his four children, two sons-in-law, and 10 grandchildren.
