BROSSARD, Canada Distech Controls announced the recent promotions of three key employees to its leadership team effective immediately.

Charles Pelletier was promoted to the position of vice president of product management. In this role, Pelletier will create a better user experience for integrated building automation systems from planning system installation to the building operation. Pelletier joined Distech Controls in 2001 as a building control engineer and in 2011 was appointed to director of product management.

Eugene Mazo was appointed to the position of vice president of software. Mazo was co-founder and CEO of DGLogik Inc. before acquisition by Acuity Brands in 2016 and has held various roles of increasing responsibility at the company. In this new role, he will work predominately with the product management, research and development, and sales teams to develop and enhance the company’s software offerings.

Both Pelletier and Mazo will report directly to Martin Villeneuve, president of Distech Controls.

Additionally, Sen was promoted to the position of vice president of international sales. Sen joined Distech Controls in 2006 and was responsible for developing sales channels and the support infrastructure across the Canadian and expanded international region. In this new position reporting to Scott Hamilton, vice president of sales, Sen will lead the growth and sales leadership for Canada, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and India.
