ORLANDO, Fla. — Football, food, and HVAC products combined for Whalen’s opening night party at the AHR Expo Sunday night.
The new products included the Inteli-therm vertical stack fan coil with slide-out coil pack. The integrated energy recovery module is capable of providing filtered and conditioned fresh air to the occupied space as well as exhausting multiple bathrooms.
“We have integrated an HRV into this unit," said Tony Landers, The Whalen Company vice president of sales and marketing. It is fully integrated so it saves the contractor a lot of time. It takes advantage of the new building codes where it is requiring the use of an ERV. It is already in place in Canada and it is starting to work its way into the United States.”
Also a big hit with the contractors in attendance was the Closetline CAS series packaged water source heat pump.
Whalen was celebrating a great 2019 with hopes to have another solid year in 2020.
“We had a great year in 2019,” Landers said. “We had another record year of growth. We were very happy with that. The year 2020 looks to be a continuation of that.”
