MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. — Ice Air has announced it has achieved AHRI® (Air-conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Institute) certification for its entire Water Source Heat Pump (WSHP) Line. The announcement was made by Ice Air Co-CEOs Mo Siegel and Ric Nadel. An AHRI member, Ice Air tested and certified its WSHP products to the highest industry performance standards and will carry the AHRI certified label.
“We are honored to continue to expand our membership with AHRI and are proud of our engineering team for their commitment to providing excellence in our product portfolio,” said Mo Siegel, president and co-CEO of Ice Air.
AHRI Certification Programs are accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and Comite Francais d’accreditation (COFRAC) to ISO/IEC Standard 17065 as a Type 4 certification system. The AHRI accreditation covers Ice Air’s WSHP line, including consoles, horizontal units, vertical closets, and vertical stacks.
“We remain steadfast in our commitment to produce technological advancements within the HVAC industry,” said Ric Nadel, Ice Air’s co-CEO and chairman. “The Ice Air brand strives to continue achieving benchmarks in our equipment, offering climate control solutions to global real estate management firms.”
Rigorous testing and a meticulous examination of certification data verified Ice Air’s line of WSHPs comply with performance expectations backed by AHRI standards. The certification reinforces consumer confidence that its entire WSHP line has met the highest specification and performs with precision and consistency.
The AHRI certification establishes Ice Air’s WSHP portfolio as performance standard compliant, and the products will be included in the AHRI certified directory.
