BEIJING — ISH China and CIHE will now take place from 5 – 7 August, after the fair was postponed from its original May date due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The fair will be held at the New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. ISH China and CIHE is jointly organized by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and CIEC GL events (Beijing) International Exhibition Co Ltd.
“We are pleased to have confirmed suitable dates for the rescheduling of the fair that meet the needs of our stakeholders,” said Richard Li, general manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd. “Conditions in China have been steadily improving over the last weeks, and businesses in the HVAC sector have been actively ramping up their operations. This gives us the confidence that the fair can go ahead as planned in August. Meanwhile, we are in contact with our local and international exhibitors and supporters to provide them with the necessary support to facilitate their participation. And Messe Frankfurt and CIEC GL events are already working to put in place all the necessary measures to ensure the health and wellbeing of all fair participants during the fair period.”
“The industry in China is ready to resume operations, and we’ve had a lot of positive feedback from companies about the revised dates and their participation,” said Hongbo Li, deputy general manager of CIEC GL events (Beijing) International Exhibition Co Ltd. “We look forward to welcoming many of our supporting partners, exhibitors, and visitors to Beijing in August also. The last few months have been challenging for everyone in the industry, and we are confident that ISH China & CIHE in August can be an occasion to jump-start the industry as we look to make up for lost time.”
A further ISH event in China, ISH Shanghai and CIHE, which focuses on heating solutions for China’s East and Central regions, will be held on September 2-4, 2020, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
