Description: This product enables HVACR contractors and technicians to effectively repair aluminum evaporator or condenser coils that have pinholes or small leaks. The line was developed to accommodate the movement in the industry for joining aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-copper or brass. The product’s zinc aluminum alloys have non-corrosive and non-hygroscopic cesium flux so additional flux is not needed when brazing. The flux is released only after sufficient preheating, so both the flux and alloy flow at the right time into the capillary. After brazing, the technician needs only to brush off the sealed pinhole or leak. With this easy process, labor hours and costs are minimized. It has a lower melting temperature and a wider melting range than traditional aluminum silicon alloys. These features help to prevent the materials from burning up too quickly and prevent coil damage since traditional alloys melt fairly close to the base metal of aluminum coils. The product comes in five-stick kits for ease of portability and use.
