OTTAWA, Canada — The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) announced the appointment of Todd Denison, vice president and general manager of UL’s Appliances, HVAC & Lighting Division, to the CABA board of directors.

Denison is responsible for UL’s Appliances, HVAC and Lighting business, where he leads a global team that helps manufacturers navigate complex compliance requirements, as well as provides product testing and certification for safety, energy efficiency, and IoT connectivity for use in consumer and commercial applications. He brings over 20 years of experience and a deep passion for helping clients succeed and for advancing innovation. He holds a B.S. in accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and an MBA from Northwestern University in Chicago. Denison takes over from Rachna Stegall, vice president - Connected Technologies at UL, as the company’s representative on the CABA Board.
