WESTBURY, New York – The Metropolitan Air Conditioning Contractors of New York (MACC) will host its feature presentation titled “Passing the Torch” on Thursday, October 7, at Westbury Manor.
Headlining the presentation will be industry leader Dan Donnelly, who created and sold Donnelly Mechanical Corporation. Following 30 years as an HVAC, MEP, and energy professional, Donnelly brings his experience as executive coach, specialty MEP consultant, and strategic investor.
“Whether you go to market and sell your company or pass it on to the next generation, there are a unique set of challenges that must be met and overcome,” said Donnelly. “You will want to show the best side of yourself. You’ll need a minimum of five years to prepare for the transition, starting from where you are now to where you are going, from pre-sale to post-sale plans.”
Donnelly will cover a wide variety of topics, including preparing business systems and processes, tax and estate planning, financial and marketing strategies, and much more. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact and ask questions during the presentation.
Passing the Torch will begin at 6 p.m. and conclude at 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Registration is required for this event. To register and learn more, click here.
