ST. LOUIS — Emerson has announced new leadership in its HVACR Technologies and Digital & Connected Technologies business groups.

John Schneider will serve as President of the HVACR Technologies Americas business. Schneider has served in several senior leadership roles within Emerson, including the former Network Power business (now Vertiv) and most recently as the President of Therm-O-Disc (now Sensing & Protection). Schneider holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Xavier University.

“Having John in this role will help us to leverage our renowned compression and related solutions expertise across our Americas business,” said Brent Schroeder, group president, HVACR Technologies for Emerson. “With his leadership, Emerson will accelerate innovation around critical technologies and integrated solutions that help our OEM customers and end users to address industry trends and the evolving regulatory landscape.”

Vicki Dawkins will replace John Schneider as the president of Sensing & Protection (formerly Therm-O-Disc) in the Digital & Connected Technologies group. Dawkins has held several key positions within Emerson in planning and supply chain before serving as president of Emerson Asia Pacific and most recently as the president of Motors (formerly Hermetic Motors). Dawkins holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and an MBA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

“Vicki has a breadth of experience within various Emerson businesses involving software and controls,” said John Rhodes, group president, Digital & Connected Technologies for Emerson. “Her deep expertise in these areas will help to drive increased focus and emphasis on connected technologies.”
