Dairen G. Jacobs, president and CEO of McCall's Supply, Inc., passed away Friday, January 14, 2022.

Constance "Connie" McCall-Baxley has been named president and CEO of the company, effective immediately. Connie previously served the company as its vice president and COO.

Jacobs served as president and CEO since 2006, following the death of Jimmy McCall. He was a 1969 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in banking and finance. Jacobs will be remembered for his tireless dedication and integrity to the company, its employees, vendors, and most importantly, its customers.

McCall-Baxley now assumes the same role previously held by her grandfather Jim, father Jimmy, and most recently her Uncle Dairen. All these individuals have been mentors to McCall-Baxley, who has been an employee of the company for 28 years and stockholder for 15 years.

Jacobs, his father-in-law, Jim McCall, and other McCall family members started the Johnsonville-based heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) distribution business in 1969.

Jacobs guided the company through countless challenges and oversaw its growth and prosperity during his long and dedicated career. He will be greatly missed.

McCall-Baxley looks forward to the challenge of continuing the company's legacy and ensuring that all employees, vendors, and most importantly, customers will continue to receive the type of service and support they have come to expect from the company.
