Description: NADCA’s commercial energy studies are in their final phase across three domestic sites and progressing into a long-term longitudinal study at an inaugural international site (Lombardy, Italy). NADCA's Scientific Committee is leading energy consumption and industrial hygiene assessments across the major climate zones of the United States, including sites in Vermont, Mississippi, and the arid Southwest. This session will review the process of the study, a new generation of energy and environment sensors, along with the IOT technology and methods utilized — including the challenges — and the data collected before and after cleaning candidate HVAC systems.
