Carney Daley
Carney Daley has been in the trades nearly his entire life. His father is a master electrician and his brother is a stone mason.
“I had the character-building experience of working for both for many years of my life. I quickly realized that pulling wire, digging ditches, and mixing mud wasn’t for me. Thankfully, I met Sila’s COO, Mike Rudolf, at a happy hour in October 2011 and within two months was working for him, taking sales leads and answering phones,” Carney said.
The two worked together to build the Sila King of Prussia business to a $15 million shop by 2015, and they are now well on our way to triple that this year.
“The HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trade is the best industry in the world. We are always in demand, and those skills will only become more essential as our society continues to oscillate between in-person and remote working and learning,” Carney said.
The company has seen double-digit revenue growth and profit for the past four years. Carney has assisted the organization as it transitioned from a multi-branch company to one of the fastest-growing private equity platform companies in the country.
Carney started in the organization as a sales and marketing coordinator in 2011 and has since taken on multiple roles within the company, from customer experience manager to general manager and now vice president.
He has helped shape the culture of Sila Services and recently helped the company earn a spot amongst the Top Workplaces in Philadelphia.
“My goal is very simple. Every day, I work toward the singular goal of creating value for my customers and coworkers alike,” Carney said.
