Brandon Marshall
Brandon Marshall’s many contributions to the industry started with his high school’s HVAC technical program. In college, he earned his A.A.S., followed by a B.S. in HVAC design and technology while working as a service technician and refrigeration engineer.
Eager to become immersed in other areas integral to the industry, Brandon next joined Carel-USA, an HVACR equipment and controls company, working his way from application service engineer to manager-refrigeration applications to North American marketing manager of food service and retail refrigeration. Today, Brandon continues to leverage his technical knowledge to support customers.
In 2020, Brandon focused his career on refrigerants. He joined Chemours as North America marketing manager – thermal and specialized solutions, and he completed his MBA. Realizing the industry was embarking on significant changes, Brandon set his sights on leading his team, OEMs, distributors, techs, and others in navigating the landscape in ways that were sustainable for the planet and their businesses. Brandon uses his experiences to guide the company and customers through complex roadmaps, such as the EPA AIM Act regulations and the HFC allocations. Brandon also stays involved in initiatives such as the California Air Resource Board (CARB) and U.S. Climate Alliance so he can provide specialized information and solutions for his company and customers.
“I am very passionate about HVACR technologies of all forms, whether mechanical components, controls, system architectures, or refrigerants. As I have progressed through my career, I have found great opportunities to expand my focus areas and incorporate other passions I have such as leadership, marketing, and business strategy,” Brandon said.
