Devin Skipper
Devin Skipper has a passion for the HVAC industry, which has helped him rise to the position of Salt Air Inc. president.
“It started as just another job, but quickly became a passion. I love the challenges presented by being a technician and the fact that I got to learn something every day — and still do,” Devin said.
Devin started the business from nothing with his wife, Brooke, 10 years ago. The duo has grown the business into a multimillion-dollar company that employs more than 35 team members.
“The key is staying true to our original vision of a place where hard work and integrity are applauded above all else. A place where people can work, grow, and even make mistakes, all while being respected and treated as part of a team,” Devin said.
Devin has a passion for what he does, and the excitement you can hear in his voice when talking topics such as VRF and how beneficial it can be for comfort in commercial spaces leaves anyone listening wanting to learn more. Devin also takes the time to set up one-on-one trainings with both apprentice techs and experienced techs.
Group trainings are also taught by Devin in-house once a month for the install and service staff on a variety of topics from VRF installation to maintaining a system properly.
Devin is working to start up Salt Air Academy, an in-house technical training academy to better serve future technicians.
