ST. PAUL, Minn. — Harris, a mechanical contractor, announced it is now the factory authorized systems integrator for Distech Controls, serving the Bellingham, Washington area and the Pacific Northwest. Harris is the only authorized Systems Integrator for Distech outside of Seattle, Washington.

Harris showcased its ability to bring together component subsystems into a whole and ensure the subsystems function together at a recent open house, where its Building Automation demo trailer was also on display and used to teach customers the intricacies of Building Automation solutions. Harris’ new General Manager of Service + Building Automation, Stewart Good, was also introduced. Good has extensive industry experience in the Bellingham area, including industrial refrigeration Service + Construction.

“Under Stewart’s leadership, we look forward to strengthening our customer base in the Bellingham area and not only meeting, but exceeding, customer expectations as we support Distech Controls systems,” said Bob Swanger, executive vice president, Service + Building Automation, Harris. “Our customers have come to rely on our problem-solving mindset to deliver unmatched, inventive results. With our proven track record of reliable service and offering the best in controls systems solutions, our partner owners and operators know they can count on their facilities operating efficiently and effectively throughout their building’s life cycle.”

The Distech systems integration solution complements Harris’ innovative and collaborative approach to providing heating, cooling, and plumbing systems out of its Bellingham regional office.
