Hydraulic bending equipment manufacturer Roto-Die has been purchased by the Formtek Group. Terms were not disclosed.

The Ohio-based company, which makes a quick-change die for HVAC and other light-gauge commercial uses, will join Formtek’s other brands, which includes Mestek Machinery and its Lockformer, Iowa Precision and Engel sheet metal machines. 

Roto-Die benders can be used with other Formtek roll-forming and coil-processing equipment to offer a “complete factory solution,” the company said. 

Roto-Die will be based out of Formtek’s Cleveland offices.
