The National Air Duct Cleaners Association has handed out its 2016 Safety Awards to several contractors who have shown a commitment to employee, customer and community safety over the past year.
“NADCA members are committed to adhering to the highest standards, while keeping safety as a top priority,” said Kristy Cohen, NADCA’s executive director. “The Safety Awards recognize those companies who have gone above and beyond this commitment, ensuring safety for their employees and customers.”
Criteria for the association’s Safety Awards are based on regulations and recommendations from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Recipients of the Outstanding Safety Awards are companies that have been recognized with the Safety Award for at least three consecutive years.
“NADCA members adhere to ACR (Assessment, Cleaning and Restoration), the NADCA standard, and safety is a top priority for them,” Cohen said. “When looking for a contractor, we recommend that consumers always reference the NADCA website to locate a member company in their region.”
A total of 23 contractors were recognized with Safety Awards, while 31 contractors were recognized with Outstanding Safety Awards. For a complete list of winners, visit the press page at www.nadca.com.
