The Building Performance Institute has agreed to offer its GoldStar contractor training to dealers of Aeroseal products.
As part of the agreement, Aeroseal’s HVAC market training subsidiary the Comfort Institute will assist dealers in meeting BPI’s program requirements. And GoldStar contractors will learn more about Aeroseal’s duct-sealing technology.
“Aeroseal’s expertise in developing duct sealing technologies is closely aligned with our house-as-a-system approach to home performance, so this partnership is a natural step for us,” said BPI CEO Larry Zarker. “Working together, our organizations will be able to offer the technologies, training, business mentorship and services that today’s contractors need to excel in the expanding home performance marketplace.”
Aeroseal CEO Amit Gupta said the agreement is good for his company and the institute.
“The BPI GoldStar credential represents the highest standard of work in home performance contracting, while Aeroseal duct-sealing technology and Comfort Institute training are proving pivotal to ensuring industry best practices,” Gupta said. “Together, we now offer the full package — for contractors looking to grow their businesses, and homeowners seeking the best, most cost-effective way to maximize energy efficiency, comfort and indoor air quality for their homes.”
