Shurtape says its line of duct-sealing tapes offer superior shear adhesion and high resistance to mold growth and humidity, while maintaining code compliance to ensure work passes inspection. Designed for sealing duct board, flex duct or sheet metal, the tapes are also compliant with UL performance standards. Shurtape models include: AF 100, which is used to join and seal fiberglass duct board and Class No. 1 flex duct; DC 181, which is used to connect, join, seal and patch Class No. 1 flex duct; PC 857, which is used to seal, seam and join Class No. 1 flex duct; PC 858 CA, which is used to seal, seam and join Class No. 1 flex duct, and may also be used to seal flex duct to fitting joints without the need for mastic; and SF 686, which is used for airtight and moisture-free sealing of Class No. 1 flex duct and sheet metal ductwork.
