The Hobo MX1102 is the first data logger that records and transmits carbon dioxide, temperature and relative humidity wirelessly to mobile devices via Bluetooth Smart, the company says. The self-contained MX1102 is ideal for indoor air quality studies and environmental monitoring in schools, hospitals and laboratories, the manufacturer says. It measures carbon dioxide up to 5,000 parts per million and sends it to mobile devices within 100 feet. It does not require cables, computer software or Internet access, the manufacturer adds.
