Ruskin has released TDP05K, a thermal dispersion air measurement system for airflow and temperature measuring. Each airfoil-shaped probe can have up to eight moisture-resistant flex sensors, and users can also specify up to 16 probes, providing a maximum of 128 sensing points — each capable of measuring a velocity range from zero to 5,000 feet per minute, officials said. Probes can be installed in indoor and outdoor square, round or oval ducts and plenums. A wireless remote display option duplicates all functions of the primary probe’s display and can be installed up to 200 feet away. The system uses thermal dispersion technology to measure airflow within 2 percent of the reading.
