The chairman of construction consulting company FMI Corp. will speak July 24 at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Construction Industry Executive Forum in Broomfield, Colo.
FMI’s Hugh Rice will talk about where he believes markets are going and population trends that affect construction.
“The construction industry, with the exception of a brief downturn in residential construction, will be a bellwether of the U.S. economy,” Rice said. “The needs for new and upgraded infrastructure and health care facilities have me feeling very confident about the future of our industry.”
Rice will also discuss management trends and what is affecting the success of construction companies.
