The upcoming HVACR and Plumbing Instructor Workshop will feature a high-ranking official from the U.S. Department of Education, organizers announced.
Patricia Stanley, the deputy assistant secretary in the Education Department’s vocational training office, will speak to attendees March 6.
“Having Dr. Stanley kick off our workshop is indicative of the commitment we have to providing our attendees access to the highest caliber of industry professional,” said Gerry Kennedy, chairman of the event’s steering committee. “Pat Stanley is a leader in the field of vocational and adult education and her expertise and professional experiences are tailor made for our audience. Dr. Stanley has set a standard of excellence in her career and we look forward to hearing her commentary on the state of American adult education and the future challenges.”
Stanley holds a doctorate in education.
The March 5-7 event at the National Conference Center in Lansdowne, Va., will feature numerous educational and training sessions on HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and employment issues.
