A market development manager with DuPont’s refrigerants division and an EPA expert on hydroflourocarbons will speak March 18 to HVAC Excellence national conference attendees.

Nick Strickland of DuPont will talk about the accelerating movement to phase out R-22 and similar ozone-depleting refrigerants commonly used in air conditioners. His presentation will follow Cindy Newberg, who is directing the phase-out for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
