The
Reflective Insulation Manufacturers Association International is holding a
special luncheon session at Metalcon Thursday.
Titled
“Use of Reflective Technology in Metal Buildings,” the noon session at
Baltimore’s convention center will focus on the thermal performance of
reflective insulation products. Association officials say these products can be
combined with other technologies to increase efficiency and help meet building
standards such as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning
Engineers’ Standard 90.1, “Energy Standard for Buildings
Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings.”
Hybrid technologies,
R-values and U-values are among the topics to be presented.
