Hurricane Ike is not keeping
the Air Conditioning Contractors of America from holding an upcoming event,
officials said.
The ACCA is still planning
to hold its Service Managers Forum Oct. 9-10 at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Houston.
The part of the city where
the hotel sits was spared the worst of the storm, ACCA officials said Wednesday,
and nearby businesses are open. If plans change, the association will contact members.
