Paul Doppel, Mitsubishi’s director of factory
liaison and government affairs, was given the award at AHRI's annual meeting.

Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division was among those offering its kudos to
the 2008 winner of AHRI’s Richard C. Schulze Distinguished Service Award.
Paul Doppel,
Mitsubishi’s director of factory liaison and government affairs, was given the
award at the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute’s annual
meeting, Nov. 16-18 in Carlsbad, Calif.
Doppel was recognized
for his leadership serving as chairman of the AHRI Ductless Equipment
Engineering Committee. He oversaw the development of proposed ARI Standard
1230P, “Performance Rating of Variable
Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Multi-Split Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Equipment.”
Doppel
has been a longtime contributor to AHRI product-section work. He currently
serves on the AHRI Standards Policy Committee and Cooling Standards
Subcommittee.
