of the company’s to win this year’s 2009 AHR Expo Innovation Award.
The
winners will be honored at the event Jan. 27 in Chicago. A presentation
recognizing the winners will happen at McCormick Place at 1 p.m. in the New
Product Technology Theater A located in the South Hall.
Honorees
of the award span the industrial marketplace in a total of nine product
categories ranging from the latest developments in Green technology to the
newest building automation tools.
AEC Design Group was the
winner in the building automation category for the ArtrA Building Information
Modeling asset management system.
In the cooling category,
Danfoss Inc., won for its Apexx VSH Series variable speed scroll compressors
for commercial air conditioning.
Ice Energy won this year’s
Innovation Award in the green building category for the Ice Bear 30 hybrid air
conditioner.
The Unitary Products division of Johnson
Controls is recognized in the heating division for the York Affinity 98 Percent
AFUE Modulating Gas Furnace.
In the indoor air quality
division, Rotronic has been recognized for the HygroClip2 humidity and
temperature probe.
The AKD 102 ADAP-Kool Drive from Danfoss
Inc. was the Innovation Award winner in the refrigeration division.
In
the software category, Mc4 Software won for the Mc4 Suite multiuse software.
Uei
won in the test tool and instrument category for its Smart Bell Combustion
Meter.
In the ventilation category, Twin City Fan Companies
Ltd. Was honored for the Aero Acoustic Diffuser for Plenum/Plug Fans.
