Johnson City, N.Y.-based Meier Supply Co. Inc. now offers an energy-efficient product line from  Mitsubish. 

Meier Supply Co. Inc. now offers the Mitsubishi City-Multi system, which meets the need for energy-efficient design, the wholesaler says.

“The Mitsubishi City-Multi is one example of a product that meets today’s need for a superior level of energy efficiency,” said Meier Supply President Frank A. Meier Jr. “In fact, it is so environmentally friendly it has been certified for use in LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building or renovation projects.”

The US Green Building Council uses LEED to certify new construction, renovations and remodeling projects. City-Multi can provide substantial energy savings for commercial heating and cooling applications, officials say.

Meier recently worked with Sure Temp Co. Inc. to become the first Mitsubishi-certified installer for the City-Multi in New York state’ southern tier region.

“It’s a very high tech system and proper installation is essential for maximizing reliability and efficiency,” said Ed Miller of Sure Temp.
