A Follansbee Steel roof was
featured in a recent episode of the HGTV series “Curb Appeal.”
The episode, which first aired on
cable TV’s Home and Garden Television April 18, focuses on a family’s renovation of their 1950s-era
home in Bethesda, Md.
About 250 square feet of red
Follansbee KlassicKolor panels were added to the house’s patio area to create a
ski lodge appearance.
The Follansbee roof was a critical aspect of the project, company officials said.
“The homeowners will benefit
from KlassicKolors’ solar reflective coatings, which will help keep their patio
area cool during the summer months,” said Edward Thomas, Follansbee vice
president and general manager. “As a visually pleasing and long-lasting
metal-roofing product, KlassicKolors makes a perfect addition to any home.
“Follansbee was happy to
provide our product to such a unique renovation project,” he added.
The episode is scheduled to
air again at 10 a.m. Eastern May 17.
