The Restoration Industry Association is looking for
people interested in presenting at its 2010 convention in Atlanta.
The meeting is set for March 23-27,
2010, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Group officials say presentations should
run about an hour to 90 minutes and focus on environmental issues, property
damage and repair, or general business topics. Health and safety topics are
especially encouraged.
Anyone interested should send a
50-75-word overview of their suggested topic and its value to attendees, along
with a personal bio. The deadline for submissions is June 8.
“RIA has a reputation for providing new
ideas, trends and concepts at its convention,” said RIA President Jeff Jones.
“We recognize that education is crucial to keeping our members and attendees
abreast of critical issues and challenging their ways of thinking on a variety
of topics. We want to prepare them for what may be on the horizon for the
industry.”
