The Air Conditioning Contractors of America
is looking for its Contractors of the Year - and says it needs members’ help.
The group is seeking nominations in two categories:
residential and commercial contracting. Applications are available at theACCA’s
Web site.
The nominating process has been
overhauled to make it easier for members, Christina Lewellen, director of communications for ACCA,
said.
“While the program itself
remains rigorous, throwing one’s hat into the ring has never been easier,”
Lewellen said. “Our new, simpler online form gets right to the heart of the
matter and asks companies to tell us why they should be considered for the
class of 2010 Contractors of the Year. If your company is doing great things,
we want to make it easy for you to tell the judges about them.”
The award is a great
marketing tool, Lewellen added.
“You’ll be able to show
your customers that you’ve been recognized by a national awards program,” she
said. “In addition to pointing current and potential customers to the
Contractor ExcellenceWeb site , where your
profile will be posted, you’ll also earn as a finalist the right to use a
Contractors of the Year logo on your company’s promotional materials.”
Entries are due by Nov.
