Finalists
will have 20 minutes to convince judges that they deserve to perform a
project.
Teams from
the University of Washington, Colorado State, the University of Wisconsin-Stout
and Oregon State University are finalists for the MCAA’s student chapter
competition.
They beat out 22 other student
chapters for the honor and will head to San Francisco March 29 for the
competition, which will be held during the Mechanical Contractors Association
of America’s annual convention.
Finalists will have 20 minutes to
convince judges that they deserve to perform the project: a five-phase
renovation of a 42,000-square-foot cafeteria at the Denver Health Medical
Center in Colorado.
The winning team will receive $5,000.
