received qualification for the DOE’s Qualified List of Energy Service
companies. By making it on to the Department of Energy list, Comfort Systems
USA Energy Services may now compete for advertised federal energy savings
performance contractors.
The Energy Policy Act of 1992
directed the DOE to develop methods and procedures to bring energy savings
performance contracts into the mainstream of federal
procurement.
