and Air-Conditioning Engineers brought its summertime meeting and about 1,400
members to New Mexico’s hot, desert city, where staying cool in June is often
not easy.
The society’s Atlanta headquarters
was recognized by the U.S government’s Energy Star program for its efficiency,
and ASHRAE was also celebrating the 35th anniversary of its landmark 90.1
energy conservation standard.
Lynn G. Bellenger was named 2010-2011
ASHRAE president - the first female to hold the position.
