Johnson Controls recently
held a five-day “boot camp” for York brand territory managers in Norman, Okla.
The classroom-based workshops
gave the managers lessons selling and understanding the heating and cooling industry.
It also included details on York’s Liberties business support program and
marketing efforts.
“By highlighting the
innovative resources available to York distributors and dealers, we equip
territory managers to help dealers manage the challenges of running a
contracting business,” said Natalie DeRousse, training manager for Johnson
Controls’ unitary products division. “The ability of territory managers to
explain and help implement our dealer-level business and marketing programs
positions them as value-added partners who positively impact contractor
success.”
Officials announced that Brett
Earnshaw, territory manager for US Air Conditioning Distributors in Salt Lake
City, earned the highest combined quiz and final-exam scores among those who
attended the event. He received a $500 Best Buy gift card.
