The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling
Contractors-National Association has hired Charles White as its vice president
of technical services.
“PHCC is pleased to welcome Chuck
on board as our chief technical officer. His considerable expertise acquired
from a 35-plus year career will make an excellent technical resource for our
members and chapters,” said Gerry Kennedy, PHCC’s executive vice president.
White
has a background in the mechanical and electrical field, having most recently
served as president of Repairs inc., a mechanical and electrical contracting company
in South Bend, Ind. He has a degree in building construction and contracting
from Purdue University, and is certified by North American Technician Excellence in four service categories and three
installation categories. In addition, he has served as PHCC’s representative to
NATE’s technical committee.
White is a previous member of
the advisory committee to Purdue University’s Building Construction
Contracting School.
He has also been an instructor for both the third- and fourth-year plumbing
apprentice programs at Elkhart Career Center
in Elkhart, Ind.
