Arizona-based software company McCormick Systems now
offers its estimating products - long used by electrical contractors - to those
who work in the plumbing and mechanical industries.
The software now has a database specially designed for
plumbing and mechanical estimating companies of all sizes that was made after consulting
with McCormick clients. Options include computer-aided drafting estimating
products, an on-screen takeoff, billing and more.
“When we promote our products to the electrical field, we
talk about the need for speed in estimating, especially these days,” said
company President Todd McCormick. “Our company was founded by my dad, who was
an electrical contractor. So the focus, from day one, has been on improving
estimating productivity.”
