The International Copper Association is sponsoring two Internet-based seminars next month on the use of new technology in the development of HVAC evaporator
and condenser coils.
The webinars, which explain the advantages of small-diameter
copper tubes with MicroGrove inner grooves, are scheduled for June 14 and June

“The
ICA has sponsored research on the physical properties, design and manufacture
of coils made from smaller diameter, inner-grooved copper tubes,” said Nigel
Cotton. “Much of this research was performed in China and the results are not
broadly known in the U.S. and Europe. These webinars are being sponsored by the
ICA to bring U.S. and European designers up to speed quickly.”
