Training organization RSES has
added four sessions to the education program for its annual conference this
fall.
Discussions dealing with carbon
monoxide safety, refrigerants and training are among the topics slated for the Nov. 14-17 meeting at the Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of
Palms, S.C. The new sessions are:
“Carbon
Monoxide Safety,” which will be led by Rich Bruno of Bacharach Inc. he will
discuss national codes, how to identify the odorless gas and how to protect
consumers.
“Refrigerant
Identification” presented by Jim Mowery of Bacharach. The one-hour talk will
cover refrigerant recovery as well as ID.
Tom
Ganfield of Maxitrol Co. will talk about “Certified Line Pressure Regulator
Training.” Sizing, venting and installation, as well as history, are to be
discussed.
“A/C
Line Set Cleaning” will be led by Riley Archer of RectorSeal Corp. He will
explain air-conditioning refrigeration contamination and how to fix it.
