Panasonic
is using this week’s International Builders’ Show to debut its new lineup of WhisperGreen ventilation fans.
Rated at 110 cubic feet per minute, the models, FV-11VK3 and
FV-11VKL3, will be available in April.

Panasonic, we pay close attention to industry demand when developing new
products,” said Anita So, marketing manager with Panasonic’s Home &
Environment Co. division. “With 110-cfm becoming more of an industry standard,
we have expanded our WhisperGreen since builders and contractors have come to
love all of the innovative features of the product line. These new 110-cfm
models will continue to improve indoor air quality in homes and light
commercial applications by removing pollutants, allergens and stale air, all
while operating with superior energy efficiency.”
Fan
features include SmartFlow CFM technology that detects and compensates
for additional static pressure by increasing
airflow, and an efficient DC motor, allowing
the fans to be up to 592 percent more
energy efficient than Energy Star standards, Panasonic said.
The
new models also include dual adaptors for 4- or 6-inch ducts, making them ideal
for renovation or new construction, officials added.
The
2012 International Builders’ Show runs today through Saturday at the Orange
County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
