Attendees of next month’s International Roofing Expo will be
able to keep up with the event through their cellphones.
Maryland-based
Core-Apps has released a show-related mobile application for iPhone, iPad, Android and
BlackBerry devices. It gives trade show attendees and exhibitors updated alerts,
an interactive floor map and networking tools, show officials
said.
“The Roofing
Expo App is a great tool that will really make your trip to the show even more
productive,” said Rick McConnell, president of Hanley Wood Exhibitions, which produces
the expo. “The map feature to navigate the show floor, the calendar option,
show alerts and detailed seminar information updates are just a couple of the
cool features that will enhance your show experience. Be sure and download (it)
as soon as you can.”
Android and
iPhone owners can find the app in the iTunes Store or the Android Market. If
you use a BlackBerry or just have a Web-capable cell phone, organizers suggest
using this
website.
The show is Feb. 22-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
